The scorpion turned out well.  These figs will really shine when you highlight them!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

both highlights and shades won't appear on my minis in at least a few months. :P I'm lacking in both ink and good highlight colors so what I focus on is the basic colors. They will look good, lack the more refined details I want to add, but they will be possible to field in my games without me staring at the only primed army of mine. :D I got in my head to make some desert camo, shade with a good ink, work out the highlights, etc, once I have painted up (and acquired) the rest of my army.

So is it going to be the current tri-color or the choco chip from desert storm?

I'd probably try tri-color camouflage. I'm not that much of a fan for dots. :P

A Jake Kramer.

I spent a lot of time on this one figure. I put time into trying to paint with several shades of the same colors, specially the trench coat.

I must say I'm very pleased with the results, the shading went mostly well and the colors worked good together that I chose. Perhaps the shirt could have been another color, but I only got 8 colors at home atm so not much to play with. :)

Looks awesome!  I love the shading on the pants and on the coat!  Keep up the great work!

Yes, green is the color of envy.  Why?
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Dave,

Looking forward to seeing them. I am interested in the painting scheme you will use.

Just finished my Banshee Boys today.  I put a more Martian style flocking on the bases and stuck with the canon red theme.  How do they look?

Dude, seriously awesome! How did you get the faces to turn out like that?

Colors - need details. Inquiring minds want to know.

Please post extreme close up of at least one fig.

Wouldn't be awesome if you added some smoke/flames coming from the jet packs? My suggestion - buy the acc pack from flames of war smoke/flames. I have 2 packs and will use them on my Wailing Banshees.

The masks turned out extemely well.  Rest of the figs look good, but the masks REALLY draw the eye.

Keep up the good work.
