Army Threads?
« on: April 03, 2008, 06:09:07 PM »
Just a thought, but how about we make each army their own thread, then everyone posts pictures of their models in said thread, of course, everyone will still use their own threads as well, but this allows people to find painted versions of models quickly and easily.  To start with I would suggest compiling the original pictures in each thread, then have users go ahead and post their models.

What do you think?

Well you know how much I hate posting my work but I is a good idea.  I assume that goes to both Chronopia and Warzone.

Very good idea. You can get specific ideas for painting etc. for each army etc.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.

This is a fantastic idea.  I'll pin the threads for Chronopia as they come in.  Same for Warzone, but I bet the hardcore Warzone players will beat me to it!!  PM me or any of the admins to sticky these threads under the painting sections.  I realize now I just typed "pin" in my second sentence.  Putting too many models together lately.
May the Dark Lords of Lead-Free Pewter smile kindly upon you.

So here is the question, anyone have all the original shots of the figures?

Glenn M -

While I encourage everyone to post their armies if they want and respect your skills as a painter, I think it in poor taste to mock/berate other forumites becasue they don't post their armies in accordance with your personal timetable.

I did not intend to mock or berate anyone.  I just thought it interesting that many fellow members seemed to think this a good idea, yet no one else has done any other form of contribution.

I'd appreciate it if you did not get snippy.

If I misinterpreted your post then I apologize. However, your original post seemed to be belittling others for not posting pix within the last 5 days. Others will post their pix when they can or they won't - posts like the one below will not accomplish anything positive. I find it intriguing that you find reason to consider my post snippy but fail to see anything wrong with your own.

Actually, I didn't mention my post at all.  I suppose reading over it again it could be interpreted negatively, but it really wasn't meant like that.

I have been meaning to post my Mishima stuff once complete in a group photo setting with "action shots" (I assume this is open to both UWZ and Chronopia) but I'm running behind schedule and I have some other pressing matters going on right now.
