the start of my Mishima Army
« on: March 25, 2008, 01:25:56 AM »
not my most intricate work, simple enough. I hope to go to town on some of the other models.
I thought plain and simple was good enough for faceless, why waste expensive clothes on suicide bombers..

I hope you like them.

Nice-good pics too!
VeezCon products:  Not as good as if they had been actually produced by a real figure company, but better than using your shoe to proxy with...sort of!

how did you do the nice shading with the washing (assuming it was washing?)

adding something to the water? or only a good hand?

thanks people, for the kind comments.

the only Washing or Inking I did was he Faceless' hats and the leather bits on Toshiro..  ie. sandals, holster etc. the rest is all shading and a little dry brushing in places. I am currently working on a Deathbringer.. colour scheme is hard to choose for some of these..  :)

If I am not mistaken, white is a traditional color associated with death within the Japanese culture.  Seems fitting for the faceless.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Wow. All the minis have that "cartoon" feel, in a good way. Very good work:)
