I've been told I have that effect on people.

If I do Dark Legion it means a lot models I'll be buying.

drop pod (yes fear the drop pod)
4 carthie
3 packs of last rites men
spawn of dem. (if I cant find my the one I have)

if john has these plus the ones I have I'll have a 1000pts

Dark Legion list does sure sound nice....

Drop Pod?  you sure it is not Drop Pods?  Just 1 pod?

The school of magic taught me that if u can use 1 then 4 is even better... unfortunately, it would be difficult to field 4 drop pods in a 1000 pt game.  I would probably go with 3 and I cleaned out John's drop pods...  :P

I think Demnogonis would be a good army to beat on the maiden Mishima. :)

I actually wrote a scenario based on the fluff story of the Zephyr. I called the scenario "An Ill Wind" and it involved the Zephyr re-entering the solar system. It turned out that the computer virus caused the ship's computer to think it was a Nepharite and it created it's robot legions to defend itself. If everyone would like I can post it.

I kinda like that idea. thanks for sharing it topkick.
Nice way for the machine army to enter warzone and explain their look.

I heard EE has the old legions of steel moulds(I could be wrong on this). Man it would be kool  if they made a machine list for their game engine....I SAID IT WOULD BE REALLY REALLY KOOL IF THEY...oh hell you heard me the first time. :P

Told Thom about the scenario a couple of years ago and have modified a few details to make it align with some suggestions he had. He knows it is there and he knows I am interestred in bringing the entire LoS universe into Warzone. Keep watching your funny papers.

LOS meets WARZONE
would be.....I really dont have the words.
it..it would just rock

question: the machines would fit very nicely into the warzone framework but how would the other armys play being that everyone is in power armor or is just easier to drop the whole power armor angle.

I always thought a kool edition to warzone gaming engine would be a LOS rulebook.
Worlds dont have to meet in the fluff but both would use the same rules (cant you tell I'm a bit of old LOS fan)

Off the top off my head the old UNE could be Nemisis or or an ally of Nemisis (the old ones who locked away the Dark Legions), the Black Empire could be an old intersteller enemy of Nemesis, the Infranites could be a race that follows the Zepyr back to our system to gain revenge on the robots for destroying their homeworld and the Fantasians could be a new Dark Eden force that has emerged from the fallout bunkers with a fascist/communist idealology and a need to conquer Dark Eden. It needs some tweaking but.....

Ok the Maplewood crew tried out the scenraio " DEAD SNAKE WALKING".
we didint get to finish so in 2 weeks we are going to play again to the end.

I must say this is a fun one!
Civilians rules worked great ( slightly more simiple version) it really neat effect that was simiply and alot fun. ***we all got a good laugh with mom and baby crossing the street just as dark legion was moving in***

On the fly to make it a quicker game we all ruled no one could fire on the first turn.
This turned out to work real well. with no incoming fire everyone rushed in hope to grab the baroness before guns were fired. This created (with all the civilians running around) a very neat battle field momnet in the center of the table.

Looking forward to playing this again in 2 weeks and moving the maplewood saga along.

WARZONE a dead game HA!!! we at maplewood laugh at that. :P
