I figure the Hot Chick Bodyguards can count as Agents.  I'll just keep the Commander in the same squad.

Thanks for the write up, Masher.  As for the length of the fluff, its great!  It certainly makes for a good and interesting read.

I think the scenario's cool by the way.  I'm still reading the rules and this little scenario will be just right to wade into the Warzone setting.

Lets' do it!  I'm psyched!

See you guys on Sunday!

Ok here are the results of tonights game.

Scenario: COLD BLOODIED SNAKES

Konrad's radio came to life "....SIR...we found a CORBA Solider out on the field..barely alive been exposed to the cold...SIR it bears officer rankings on the uniform...what do you wish to do".
     Konrads reply.
"I want that snake alive. Bring it to the shuttle. Its coming to venus with us."

**************************************************************************
Bahaus and CORBA had hard fought battle. they were really slugging it out. But Konrad really won the day. The guys were telling me he was taking squads out all by himself :o

results: Corba lost the titan base aka: the Snakes Den to bahaus and not only that but bahaus, do to the clear victory,  has also capture an ranking CORBA officer. Who is now being shipped to venus for interrogation and judgement.

**************************************************************************
Scenario:  BETWEEN A ROCK AND DARK PLACE.

"They drilled though the rock wall sarge, THERE GETTING IN"
"Like hell they are. FORM UP AROUND ME
..HERE THEY COME ..FIRE FIRE FIREEEE"

*************************************************************************
Iron panda and I had our 500pt game today
his goal was to destory a computer and or kill everyone on orbtial station.

today once again peacekeepers prove they are best grunts in the univeres.
a total one sided victory for the cartel forces manning the station.
It was panda's first warzone game and a big learing experice on the use of his dark legion horde. He's a quick learner and I'm sure after few more battles he'll get feel for his army.
And my one-sided victories well turn into one-sided loses.

result:
faliure at rock means the next "one on one" scenario would not  be a AMBUSH scenario where dark legion does the amushing. If they would have won they would have the pick of anyone to do a AMBUSH to.
**************************************************************************

                  NEXT SCENARIO:
              DEAD SNAKE WALKING
will be a 4 way battle
Bahaus public excution of the CORBA officer.
CORBA to rescue one of there own.
Cartel wants the officer for intell.
The Bleeding Prophet has seen the part this officer will play in the coming black crusade. Dark legion forces move in to capture the officer .

    details to be posted soon.

thats it for me I'm going to bed.

This game was BRUTAL.  The Environmental conditions really worked against both me and Serge, the worst of it being the 12' maximum range, and the penalties to RC.  I did manage to take out 3 Vulkans, a handful of Dragoons, and about half his Jungle Kommandos.  His Ducal Militia came through unscathed.  Konrad's dice were ON FIRE.  He must have personally wiped out a squad and a half of Heavy Infantry.  The Vulkans weren't as deadly as I expected, but I blame that on bad dice rolls (Konrad made up for it though)  My dice were alternating really.  I should have also covered my right flank a little more heavily, which might have stopped his Ducal Militia advance.  Anyhoo, it was a fun battle, and I learned that DAM 14 guns do really well against Vulkans. :)

Finally got my baptism of fire (literally) in a game of Warzone.  I squared off with Masher and his dastardly shooty Cartel force with my sad, pathetic Horde army. All in all I fielded:

2 squad of 8 man necromutants with tormentors
2 Centurion Preceptors
1 squad of 2 Praetorian Stalkers

In the two games we've played, Masher's peacekeepers were absolutely brutal.  They mowed down my swarming necros at an alarming rate while I tried to close the distance and destroy the objective. The preceptors ( I guess I should have given them some dark symmetry spells to be more marginally effective) didn't even made it into hth.  As for the stalkers, they really rocked with paradeploy.  I got them in a good firing position and their high rate of fire wiped off some peacekeepers.  The most galling thing about this is Masher made some incredible armor rolls giving me grief and annoyance.  In the end though, they were wiped out, their sacrifice in vain.

All in all, it was a cool game and look forward for the next scenario.

yes peacekeepers are pretty evil 8)

in the four way battle there should be lots of chances to get in good & close
just like dark legion likes it .

and for the record Praetorian stalkers are just pain nasty.  :o
you need more of them.

Masher,

I tweaked my list a bit and would like to try it out.  It's still 500 points as I would like to familiarize with the game mechanics.  I'll come up with the fluff for a scenario tonight.

I might try the Dogs of War again, or put together those Mishima, to see how they work out.

Whoa.  Just how many armies do you have?  I'm cool with cartel.  I have a scenario floating around that involves the veterans in the previous scenario.

Jibba,

Its still iffy, but I might stop over this Saturday for a game.  I'd like to try out those dogs of yours.

I won't be there on Saturday, as I have a previous engagement in South Jersey, but I could be there Sunday.

Hmmm.... I'll have to paint them, although a basecoat and some brown'll do it.
