Speaking of which.

Cobra Commander opened the dossier.

"The individual known as Destro is an independant arms dealer whom the Cartel suspects has been providing weapons to malcontents and insurgents all over the Solar System, although to date, none of this can be proved.  His full name is James McCullen Destro XXIV.  He is the 24th Laird of Clan Destro, a small family once aligned with Imperail until it was discovered that a member of the family was supplying weapons to both sides of the civil conflict now referred to in Imperial circles as the Sad Struggle.  That member was forced to wear a painful mask.  Subsequent generations have taken to wearing the mask upon inheriting the title of Laird as a badge of honor rather than discrace.  In addition, the current Destro has formed his own organizaiton, The Iron Grenadiers.  He is thought to have ties to the baroness.  This is the only known picture:"

  nice!!

now- what is the makeup of the Iron Grenadiers?  A guess...

trenchers
old Special Forces Sculpts (useful as BB's or Dunsirn Hunters)
Maybe ISC agents
Mastiffs.

Known agents of Destro's employ could be the Dreadnoks, which would be a WB Vanquisher and a bunch of Banes... with bodyarmor.
  Maybe some Fenris bikes/bikers too.

Not to speak for JJW but when I asked him for the parameters for the figure he wanted it to have an M-89 (or similar) so that it could be an Assault Marine Captain.  The Iron Grenediers are probably going to be Assault Marines.  Bear in mind the core list is based off of Capitol.

@Masherking

Now you've got me thinking of how to do a Dr. Mindbender.  Actually, it wouldn't be hard if I had a...

  Hmmm... forgot about that.

Makes sense though- the Iron Grenadiers were supposed to be hard core tough.

*nod* The Iron Grenadiers would be Assault Marines.  As for Drednoks, I would think about having them be a bike heavy Wolfbain/Gendairme army, but Masher already has that. :)
(Besides, a stealth heavy army would be perfect for Zartan)

Speaking of Masherking, I thought he might be feeling left out sooooooo....

Oh, better far to roll the die
Under the brave black flag I fly,
Than play a sanctimonious part,
With a gamer head and a gamer heart.
Away to the mundane world go you,
Where gamers all are well-to-do;
But I’ll be true to the song I sing,
And live and die a Masherking.

For I am a Masherking!
And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Masherking!

For I am a Masherking!

You are!
Hurrah for our Masherking!

And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Masherking.

It is!
Hurrah for our Masherking!

Hurrah for the/our Masherking!

When I sally forth to seek my prey
I roll the dice in a royal way.
I slay a few more figs, it’s true,
Than a well-bred monarch ought to do;
But many a man on a first-class throne,
If he wants to call his game his own,
Must manage somehow to get through
More dirtygames than ever I do,

For I am a Masherking!
And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Masherking!

For I am a Masherking!

And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Masherking.

It is!
Hurrah for our Masherking!

Hurrah for the/our Masherking!

perhaps you should drop the brotherhood inquisitor..

these guys (the brotherhood) mean serious buisness..
someone streched so thin (so much responsibilities/jobs) in such a high / important position (a magic user, after all) is difficult to belive.. he would work full time BH, I think

What was the Destro converted from and what is the big honkin gun he is holding?

According to Veez, The model is a Syntha Marine with a Dr. Omega head. (Both from Void)  The gun I believe is the Cybertronic HMG from the weapons pack.

Close, it's a brotherhood weapon with the flame thrower cut off.  Other than that you are right on the money.  The collar has been puttied on.
