Did you buy any smoke grenades for your Wolfbane? or you just have the wolfbairn?

Man I got my butt kicked in this game ouch!

First time using wolfpack troops. I think I have a bit of a learning curve with this army.
Not to take anything away from Jibba he beat me hands down.

Things I learned:
Stealth is neat...need to learn how to use this better.
keep my bikes back till the army is in the thick of it, then rush them in, not before. :'(
I love my headhunters. They are so sweet....maybe I'll try berserkers against Jibbas marines and see how they do.

One thing I learn about myself is I'm not use to people having more units then me  :P
being out actived is something I have to get use too.

I like the wolfpack army. Plays very different from my cartel and Dark legion armies.
Need to figure out a way to use them against Jibbas very shooty Captiol....Damn marines.

Good game Jibba
Next time I'll be ready.

I had 2 squads of Wolfbairn
1 squad of headhunters
1 squad of fenris bikes
1 charcter.
hindsight beign 20/20
In playing the game I finally can see the use of SA warcry.
and smoke would have been very helpfull

How many points?

I brought 750pt with me.
2 Sqaud (1 medium, 1 small) of Wolfbanes with HMG.
1 Squad of Woflbairn.

With 2 Smoke grenades and 1 suppression grenades (point filler).

I figure I'll approach my target in stealth (half movement) mode.  When I'm not, the sergent will pop smoke grenades to give me cover and hopefully that will be enough for me to get close and start the slaughering.  Both Wolfbanes and Wolfbairn dont do enough damage tho.  Anyway, that's my strategy.

that stealth is a mean thing.  You can see them coming, but your squads can't see them until they're right on top of them.  Not so bad if the squad has an HMG or two, but they smack the heck out of alot f Grunts.

Sounds like a workable plan.
I find wolfbairn die easily to rilfe fire so smoke is a big help.
4" move is a big help.
I think leader with warcry can be useful. HMG is a must because by themselves (wolfbarins at least) dont dish out alot of damage , except for the wolfbarin leader (I was sold with killing stroke). I think wolfpack armies backbone are their elite choices, an odd army for me because I play very grunt heavy armies. Its the elites ,damage combined with their SA, that can dish out the serious hurt.  At least thats what I think after the first game.

My main wolfpack army is pack with as many bikes, necromowers and vermins I cram into my army List.
I havent played this list yet, Quite curious to see how it will do.

Looking forward to playing this army and trying to make it work.

It is a bit hard to play the Wolf Pack.  Stealth is neat but it penalize you with the 1/2 movement so you can't rush to your opponent and share the love right away.  On a board that is terrain heavy, I think it is doable.  Otherwise, once the stealth is gone, they are just moving target.  It is an interesting army to play.  Hmmm... 1000pt of Wolfbane vs 1000pt of Suicide Warheads...

Invest in a couple of Vermin APC's and after you form fireteam with the heavies rush them forward in the transports to a defensive position and then use them to provide overwatch for the APC's while they bring up the rest of the Wolfbanes.

They never made a APC but there is ton of APC made by other companies.
and I can see topkicks point. Vermin would help out alot.
Form Fireteam and making a small squad of HMGS.....now thats a thought.

Not so sure if RL will help.  Since Wolf pack is close range and rocket is unusable in CC,PB and SR, flamer might be a better choice or HMG...

But you have to spot'em first...

Here is a question, if I'm MP while in Stealth, how fast am I moving?

Hmmm... note to self:
