But they just don't fit my idea of monks other than maybe the Kikogomaes.

BTW PS  - I saw some faceless for sale on ebay if you're looking for them!

Nice figs but a little too 60's for me.

Dang these are elusive - Corvus Belli makes some nice far east figs but a little pricey and not Warzoney enough for me.

I've got an extra set of APAC Ninjas for Rezolution that I'm planning on using for Monks.

Another potential would be the Assassin Acolytes from Four Color Figs.

They have a set with Close Combat Weapons and with Ranged Weapons.

If not Warrior Monks, they'd make excellent Shadow Walkers.

This VASA Knight of Balance from Void 1.1 would make an excellent Nagano Shadow Walker, he even has a real sniper rifle.

These Triad Kabuki Dolls from Urban War and Lotus really have some potential.  Also if you remove the wings from these Dragonflies and Mayumi you have some potential for some great female monks.

Some of these Triad Bosses and Hiro Takahashi could make some good sword monks.

Funny, I just I bought some APAC ninjas!  I like them a lot for Monks.


The Void Knight is great but impossible to find...unless you know where???

Grendel Scotia now makes and sells the Void 1.1 models.  Check with them regarding the VASA Knight of Balance.

Also you might want to look at the APAC Arashi figures as Enlightened Masters.

The Male one comes in the APAC Starter Set.  Note the hat comes as a seperate piece.  He's got a bald head underneath.

The Female one is available in a blister.

Also the APAC Numb Sisters have some great potential.

While checking out the Superfigs site, I found some more potential Warrior Monk type models.

Shakti would make a good Enlightened Master as well as Yin Yang , Lady Blade, Stoneflower, Grav Girl, and Thunderfist.

You know while looking at my APAC Enforcers, they could make some pretty cool Warrior Monks as well.  They have some great dynamic poses and some already have Kamas and if you replace the pistols with close combat weapons they'd make some funky looking monks.  Also check out the Enforcer Lieutenant.

Yes - The figs withe the Kamas are nice..DROOL,DROOL,

 - shoot now I may have to get those as well...although I already bought the dragonflies for my Kikogomaes - can't have ALL female monks!!!

Found em for half price too!  6 bucks for 2!  Woohoo!
