It's the "during times of distress and panic" that leads me to believe it only affects issues of Morale. I'am not saying your wrong, I just personally dont read it as covering all LD test or Initiative. I PM'ed Thom to see what he has to say. ;) ;)

AS one who's been shot at, I know thats a distressing situation.  It's also why I think most American Troops have Resolve 2. :)

Anyone heard back from Thom, yet?  I am curious to see if intent overrules the actual letter of the rules, here.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

... My sergeant would be "inspiring" me not to give a dang, and climb the hill anyway.  He would be improving my morale by adding to my LD.

And by adding some kiwi boot polish to you colon perhaps?

Wouldn't be the first time orders were applied via swift kick -- won't be the last.

Haven't hread from Thom yet but in looking through the SA's it appears that Dire is Inspires evil twin. When reading Beheading Causes Dire to enemy's in Command Distance and Inspires friendly within same. Both have ratings 1-5 and Dire clearly say Morale Test, maybe under Inspiration it was just omitted. I also noted under Dissention it states "any roll that involes LD" so shouldn't it say the same under Inspiration if it is to cover all LD test.

Until and unless otherwise ruled upon from on high, the official answer is, exactly, as the rules state.

See my post of the rule.

The rule and the discussion in this topic doesn't answer the question if inspiration is cumulative or not.  ???

Cumulative with what?

With itself...

I think it is not, but the questions is there:

page 75:

"Leaders with this ability may add their level of inspiration to the effective LD value for both themselves and friendly models within their command radius"

What leads me to the next wuestion regarding the inspiration....

Whether it is usable for all LD tests or not ....is it cumulative?

Letīs say a Mounted Hussar Bannerman and Max Steiner...... or two Bannermen?

It is not cumulative with itself; simply choose which model is doing the inspiring.
