Are the blood berets figures in this box - http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/tg9001.html the same as the ones in these blisters? http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/tg1227.html

Technically, no.

However, they can be used to rep them or Black Berets.

They actually make good "filler" for your undead units.  A lot of guys bulked up their Dark Legion armies early on with this game, and more importantly, Seige of the Citadel.  You would want your Blood Berets to be great figs, but your DL crunchies can look like anything frankly.

yeah, the DL are OK, but not great..

i propose to better invest in some pewter ones, i frequently see cheap ones on ebay..

i even have an open (likely not complete) BB game box floting around..
PM if you are interested.. but the shipping is not cheap.

maybe we can figure something with other users when i update my give away list..
(sorry to all users with trades that slept away.. the storage place is quite full and stacked up.. and RL interferes a lot..)

Here's a photo I took comparing the Blood Berets Board Game plastic models (the two in the center) to the Warzone pewter models.

Hands down, the pewter figures are much better.
Back in my day we didn't have that fancy non-toxic pewter stuff.  We played with lead, LEAD I TELL YA! and we liked it.

It's not the size of the shoulder pads...

The shoulder pads are like sports cars - it's a compensation issue  :o

Nice paint jobs btw. Those plastics are pretty poor minis, but you did a good job of making them look presentable....

Here's some more pics of the figures from Blood Berets.

Nepharites

The one in the Blood Berets Game is the one on the left.

Undead Legionaires

The one in the Blood Berets Game is the 4th from the left.

Stellar paint job by the way!

I like the Dark Legion retrospective.
