Ready for Minis...
« on: August 06, 2007, 02:13:07 PM »
After 3 play sesions we have decided that Chronopia is the game for us!!!  That being said I am ready to get some real minis, I have looked on E-bay, I will be at Gen Con next weekend.  Some people here have offered in the past spare minis, that being said I am ready to start the endless quest for metal...  any help will be appreciated.

I have a Stygian Army for Sale that Sylvas was interested in, but he didn't get back with me yet.  Check out this link...

watch ebay, with christmas coming up there always seems to be some big lots of minis that pop up.  it is not uncommon to find a 1000 point painted army at about 1/3 cost.  the good news is, that with as many guys as you have, you can field a fun effective force of 500 points per army, so take a look and make a list of what mini's you think would be most versatle and start with those

I have a large Helios army, a good 1500 pts at least, several Dragonbanes, that I have considered parting with, as I have never played them. They are mostly assembled, and includes:

Axeman
Longbowmen
Sisters of the Flame
Spearmen
Warrior of the Sun
Warrior of the Golden Mask
Red Lotus Eater (Female)
Dragonbane Scout
Dragonbane Warkiller
Flying Dragonbane

If you are interested let me know.

hopefully by the end of summer I will have identified what I have and dont need and will probabyl be willing to trade or sell.  i know i will have a good amount of dwarves, probably some elves as well.  no whole armies, but good fillers or starters, including some boxed sets, as I have purchased large lots over the last few years to complete my armies. I have a crystal lotus full, can probably field 2500-3000 points, a full SOK, approximately 2000 plus points, way too many horned ones.

so, ill be looking for a few elves, (probably militia), and some firstborn as I like to play SOK tribe of the dawn, then I will be done.  4 state militia shoudl be able to field the following armies (at least 1500 pts) by fall

blackblood
devout
helios elves
obsidian house
sok (all three tribes)
lotus house elves
horned ones dwarves
vulture clan dwarves
firstborn
stygian

now all we need are a couple more players!
