Elves--1st edition

If you look at the Elven Axemen in the Target edition of the game, you'll notice they have different spikes attached to their armor.  Was there a change along the way, and if so, does anyone have the models with the larger armor spikes attached?

  Actually, if I remember correctly :P The # of spikes changed while Target still had 'em.  Somthing about casting costs I think.  Friend of mine may have some, I think ..... have to ask and see.
