I saw the greens at the con.
they look even better in person.

damn fine mini.
stands out against anything from other companies I've seen for dwarves.
they'll look great as the only missile unit in my dark tusk army.

really hope to see more minis by you in the future

Thom was showin' em off at Dreamation to the players in the Warzone Tourney; sadly he wasn't there to show us on Sunday at the Chronopia Tourney, but we love'em just the same.

Masherking's Dwarves beat the hell out of my Dwarves.  All in all a great time.  This game brings out a different crowd of enthusiasts--more esprit de corps than others.  Nary a rules argument to be found.  It was a lot of fun.

Speaking from the Chronopia Tournament only, I can say we will need more table space at the next one.   A couple of newbies got to play, the old heads networked and my circle of Chronopia playin' friends in the area just doubled.  They're going to pull my crew into Warzone, so I'll be destitute shortly.

there was whole lot more warzone then 40k. ( 1 game of 40k/ weekend worth of games for EE) and even then we recuited some of them to warzone and chronopia

warzone there was 6 (2 were EE staff) but I know there would have been a lot more.
One was a wedding( at least thats what someone told me) that took some players and other was comdey of errors that took other.

chronopia I think it was 10players
again said wedding took some players.

not a bad turn out for a small con.
Bill is right if we all can bring just one more person the EE tournies would explode

Masher had the Dark Tusk Dwarves
I had the Wolf Clan Dwarves
Dalton had the Blackbloods
Bill played a borrowed Blood-Bone Dwarf army--his Stygian will be at the next one
JP played his Firstborn as did Dave McGee
Lance played Sons of Kronos
I'm sure I've missed a few.

I like the tunnel fighters a lot - the clumping on the fur cloaks looks great, like they're old and damp and well-worn.

Only nitpick is that the spearheads look a little thick - the blades shouldn't be as thick as the haft, IMO.

I'll be buying a couple!

Those heavy throwing spears better have the spear tips as thick as the haft; I'm out to harpoon some Blackbloods!  9 damage!

To the detriment of asthetics, weapon and haft thickness have to be somewhat exaggerated for castability and durability.

Fair enough.  It's not too big a deal - I can always file them down if I want them to be thinner.

Aesthetics be damned!  I've got Blackbloods to skewer!  Seriously, it's better to have some metal to file down than have to sculpt bulk back up.  If we ever see these guys in person, we can make the call.  Cheers.
