Greetings to all friends, Compatriots, Slavs, Ladies and Gentlemen participating in Warzone Tournament on Basilisk’05 Convention in Polish Championship 2005 !
Greetings to all readers as well!

It has been done! Championship has ended, however the corridors of high school in Narbutta street ( Warsaw, Poland: 15-16 of October 2005) are still haunted by sounds of shooting, cheers of victories and screams of wounded soldiers. The Universe is under siege and war zone is pounding with sound of struggle!

We have fought mighty battle, we have finished the tournament and friendship and good fun were saved.
I want to thank the all who organized our great enjoyment, especially Konrad with his wife, Rafał and Łukasz and all referees who I didn’t mentioned here.

In their name ( and my own too :) ) I want to express warm thanks and congratulations to all who participate for endurance, great friendly atmosphere and so numerous arrival.
Special thanks to our Czech friends, Zdenek and Dan, who crossed our southern border to give our championship an international character ( and pan-Slavic too :P) and for Moniq, who has won in ladies classification, giving boys a nudge, that playing with little soldiers isn’t fun just for them :D

Our thanks to sponsors goes to Excelsior and to Wargamer who prepared us gifts for all paritcipating players, some neat prizes for winners and of course beautiful Templar statue for the Champion ( funny that: Ilian had won! :P and Rumcajs eyes were orbiting around, see pictures on our friend Christof's domain LF - link downstairs  ;)) .

Statistics will be coming gradually as well as info about results in each round. Now general ( and official) standings.
Points were granted: one for claiming each victory point on the field ( 5 per battle, max) plus one for winning each battle. Small points are difference between losses of each participating force per battle – summarized. There were 5 Rounds in two days aprox. 2,5 hour per battle or 6 rounds, 1200 points armies, UWZ rules (official Polish UWZ rules! guys have made it before Con! :D) with actual English and Polish FaQ.

It's great to hear that your tournament went so well and with nice amount of people
showing up too.

I love it when tournament is run well with lots of good people to play with.

May Basilisk '06 be just as good if not better.

Great work! Looks like you had lots of fun. 30 players is a quite respectable size for a tournament.

Nice pictures. I like the one with 9 Mounted Hussars charging over the bridge towards the Brotherhood. Did they succeed?

Thanks :) The charge was success, though I paid my price in blood:
- first unit of MH charged and waiting Sacred Warriors...
- ...and then was massacred by rest of SW team
- in order to attack, SW had to move forward - that put them in range (we played at artic lvl 6 - LOS was 18'') of Viktors' cannons (you may guess what came next :) )
- later second unit of MH (supported by Johan Emingholtz) moved over remians of SW and started to spread mayhem on the other side of the bridge

Small explanation: taking control over bridge was crucial bacuse we played for victory points located there (not no. kills)
