Orca HMG's

Not sure where to post this, so i'll choose here!

I remember there was a thread on the old boards abotu how to mount the HMG guys on the back of the Orca's so that they were removable. Does anyone either have a copy of that thread, or remember what the idea was??

If i remember correctly, just pin the HMG gunner from the pintle mount to a hole you've drilled in the top of the Orca.  That way the Gunner still stands firmly, but he can just be lifted right out.  I never bothered with that as the Gunner stands just fine without any modification.

So what do you do when they FFT? or do you just never remove them?

I remove them and replace them on the board with a regular HI HMG.

actually, the sculpts look like modified Sea Lions.  You couldn't go too wrong with a Sea Lion LMG.  it certainly looks more like teh Orca HMG.  I only used HI cause I had a couple extra waitin to be painted.

3 of mine have the HI helmets, one doesnt have a helmet at all, just the bandana, ala sea lions, so, i'll use HI, and maybe (maybe) 1 sea lion...

I think it was Seamus who posted a description of how he did the orca gunners on the old forums.

I am sure he'll repost it when he sees this thread.

I only used the Riders with the HI helmets on my 3 Orkas. I had the Idea that i would do my 3 other ones with the Sealions on the guns for a navy themed Force with Sealion paintingschemes on them.

Btw I used the pin method fort he gunners and it works very well.
