I think if Mays going to be the month and with the 2 Holidays, Mothers and Memorial day we should lock in the 17th/18th as the date for Talamania II. Need to verify with Dave if ok. This should leave more then enough time for everyone to make arrangements for attending. ;D ;D ;D

I love the smell of cigars in May -- it smells like victory  ;D

Well I guess I'll try to come and if I do I bet I leave with my record of zero losses against Thom intact.  ;D ;D

Josh -

I think Thom is upset because he has never beaten me in spite of the numerous times we have sat across the table from each other.   ;)

I don't think it would be appropriate to say more.  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

With apologies to Clement Clarke Moore, author of The  Night  Before Christmas

'Twas the month before Christmas, when all through the forum

the smack talk was starting, with no signs of decorum;

The challenges were flung back and forth thru the air,

In anticipation that Talamania II soon would be there;

Those not involved were behind cover or ducking their heads,

While others promised that soon they would win battles with armies of lead;

The East Coast was planning an event for us all,

While on the West Coast Wedge dreamed of answering the call,

When from the Midwest there arose such a clatter,

Everyone knew it had to be Topkick behind all of the chatter;

Controllers did slide and computer screens flashed,

as everyone opened the thread to read all the trash.

The computer screen gave off a beautiful glow

As Topkick took center stage and started his show.

None could believe what they read on that site,

as the normally shy forumite started picking a fight,

His fingers flew rapidly but not as fast as his wit,

There was no doubt who it was talking the sh*t

More rapid than eagles his challenges they came,

As he harrangued, and shouted, and called them out by name;

"Now, Archer! now,Sniper! now, JoshuaSlater and Drachen!

Ludwig! DMcGee! Dodger and Big Kahuna it's all of you that I'm mockin'!

Come to Talamania II! Face me and fall!

Or dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

Well I hope I wasn't too subtle.  :o    ;D

Screw appropriety - it is a relatively easy feat to accomplish.  One needs neither a bull's eye on their shirt, nor an arrow to shoot.

Since you have given the date so well in advance I can say with certainty.....

I WILL BE THERE

I'll be bringing a few armies (*cough* GothRatz *cough*), and some terrain, and a bottle of cognac, and hopefully some (contraband) cigars.

You've been warned....
