Dwarf Proxies
« on: March 15, 2007, 09:30:24 AM »
Well check out www.darkslaveminiatures.com

I've been patiently waiting for them to go online with their Dwarves.  They have some excellent Dwarf models for either Chronopia or other games.  They've got some cool looking ones that would work for Blood-Bone hammerers, including some females, and Wolf Clan Axemen, although maybe not as heavily armored as we'd like.  When you get to the site, it's not in English yet, so you've got to click on the Spanish flag at the bottom left.  Click on  "Catalogo" first, then"comprar" to get to their online store, and then click on "32mm".  Click on the pics to see what they're cookin' up.

Cheers.

They look like Confrontation sculpts.  The dwarves on the second page of the catalog are much more appropriate, the first page ones, I don't think would fit in well.

However,

This guy would be a great Red Lotus Eater with a bit of work.

It was definitely the page two ones I was thinking would work.

Good eye for a Red Lotus Eater and for the Nature's Fury.   Figures you'd spot the Lotus Eater!

josh, that's only because you remember my old username.

I would buy that Natures Fury figure, but it is way out of my price range.

I think someone already posted about a War Torkha, check the Conversion Showoff or whatever it was called.

Edit:  her you go, note that on the next opage he links to where you can get the Torkha.

If you want to try a little conversion work here is a link to Manic Miners proxy/conversion. The plastic bulls are nice - I got a few from him to use for Rivetbulls for my Rasputins
