The Totems work quite well in resin. I have no idea if the plastic these statues use is a better material for that type of sculpt. Does it hold detail as well? Are the molds expensive to make? How long does the mold last?

/Andreas (happy that there are a pair of Euthanasi and a Dragoon Sniper somewhere in the postal system for me)

We'll have to wait for EE on that one.  I have to say Coil, I do agree I'd rather have the sculpts for my army first--my Wolf Clan Dwarves are filling out the ranks nicely.  Maybe the statues can wait.

HAH! TMP is full of crap! I never visit that site, it's probably the only gaming website I DON'T have bookmarked. If I cared what those sorry sad-sacks had to say I'd be a sick individual. The whole fanbase could sink into the sea and I wouldn't bat an eye. It's just a bunch of people who sit around and think they're gods gift to gaming, criticizing things from the computer chair while their mom prepares their bag lunch or their sad lives fly by them at breakneck speed.

As far as I knew, the maxi-mini's were originally gonna be tourny prizes/ pieces used for a gigantic Siege ofthe Citadel game.  While I think it's cool that they're offering them for sale I doubt very much that many units will move.  Also as far as i knew the gigantic pieces weren't made in house and so didn't require much in the way of EE resouces and time.

The statues are made to order offsite. They are made from poured latex. There is not time lost on the end of EE production of minis ect on our end. No worries new releases are on the way.

There statues were done more as a hobby by the sculptor and for Super Size Seige of Citadel. We decided to offer them to the public because we have had people ask about purchasing the models and figured it would be nice to offer them for those that wanted them.

Frankly if you think they'll sell and you get some good feedback here then make them. Most of the nay-sayers in the link are either what I call the "professional complainers" or someone I have never encountered on a forum before. I don't think you're going to get any of their money regardless of what you do.

As for their comments with regard to how you run your business, if there is anything constructive in what they are saying incorporate it into your business model and flush the rest of the crap.

So, when is this super-size Siege of the Citadel going to happen?  It sounds awesome, and with a horde of those giant zombies attacking, I'd love to see some pictures.

Cool, thanks - it'd be neat to find out.  Not that I'll be able to attend (living thousands of miles away), but I can look forward to pictures of the event, at least!
