Chronopia Statues
« on: October 08, 2005, 11:40:19 AM »
Now that there are staues of Warzone which look awsome by the way, good job guys. When can we expect to see some Chronopia stautues. I would love one of the Judge or a Blacksister, maybe Necromancer, Darkeye. Wow just the thought of Chronopia statues is awesome. Are there some in the making? Any hints to as who? I can't wait to see them though if and when they do come out.

I second that notion. Chronopia statues would completely rock!

The BLACKSISTER statue would be a must have if anything like the mini's.

Or statues of the various Devout Demons... I'd love to see a Dusk Realm Demon statue.

Most of us on here would prolly buy one no matter what army it's from.  I am partial to the idea of the Black Sisters or the Blade Maidens.

By statues I guess you mean like the 13" Razide?

BTW Morf (and others who use coloured text). Please try to cut down a bit on it. Purple against a black background isn't very readable.

White on black is easier to read. I guess yellow is ok as well but let's leave that colour to Prime. :)

Well all based on the reaction of the miniatures page it doesnt seem to be a point or need to make more statue. Am I wrong? What do you guys think.

That is some scathing criticism, yo.  I can't wait for the new Chronopia models to come out and spear these naysayers, cynics, and complainers.

It seems that some ( and mean only some) folk on TMP are just bitter people (this the nicest way I can say it).

as for Chronopia statues I myself would like to see a Darkaxe dwarf myself ( the one with the axe over its head).
my second choice would be a dwarven tunnel fighter.

on side note how big would a blood totem be on that scale  :o

I think those Individuals are "BITTER"  :'(I have seen the factory and the limited resources that EE has to work with. Remember Target went under and EE saved both Chronopia and Warzone :D so how about some thank you EE instead of whining. :P

@masher--it does bring up the question about plastics for the newer totems.  As much as I HATE THE VERY IDEA OF PLASTICS, I would buy the totems in plastic if it was the only feasible way for EE to release them.  I too am a Dwarf player, and if the green of the upcoming (soon, please) Tunnel Fighter is any indication of the sculpt to follow, then count me in for a statue too.  I'll proxy it for one of the Founders that walked with the Dwarves before they were twisted into totems.

Personally I don't see the point of these big pieces. From what I understand action figures and the like are quite popular in the US even among older geeks though, so maybe there is a market for them.

I guess I am just not the target demographic for these and I would rather have one sculpt for either Chrono or Warzone (for any army) over these big pieces. Even if I did like them there is no chance that the wife would let me have it anywhere visible at home. :)

They tend to have that effect, don't they Coil?  Wives, that is.  And as for the market and demographics, maybe they don't have a large potential.  I wonder if EE has considered them for the Totems.  Having seen one of the statues up close, the detail is better than the large plastic sculpts we use for our D&D games.
