Leslie and I are drving out- mostly due to the cost of flying from Philly or Harrisburg.  Considering the three armies I will be bringing and her pair of them, driving really made sense.

We are staying about 2.5 blocks away, at the Marriot.  Tried to get a room accross the street but it got sold as I was inputting my info. :o :o

The Boys from Illinois will be staying at our regular base camp. There is a Ramada on Broad Street: about 10-15 mins from the Convention Center. It's quiet, out of the way, and has the best Italian eatery in all of Columbus, bar none, with a cheesecake that's a diabetic nightmare.... *drool*.

I heard talk of this eatery.
Might have to put on a clean shirt and give it a try.
mind you I'am from New york/New Jersey so my bar is set high.

I'm also a sucker for a good cheesecake.....mmmmmmmm cheesecake.

Indeed... the bar is indeed high.  Jersey is one of those places where Olive Garden never should have opened up at all.  Too many *good* italian eateries for them to really compete.

Best ones are the mom'n'pop hole in the walls.  They rock.

But I'll give it a go too...

I'm also a sucker for a good cheesecake.....mmmmmmmm cheesecake.

Me too... though I will likely have to go run a few laps to counter the effects of te diabetic nightmare; medicine might not be enough if its that sinful.

Of coursue  ;D
I'm hoping to get a good 2000pt battle with the Lord H. all the sweet sweet bikes and necormowers I get to play with  8)
Though I dont know how much it will get painted by then, lucky to get mini or 2 every 2 weeks these days.

truth is I'm planning to bring most of my warzone armies (at least Lord H, and Dark legion...maybe agents)
at least one Legion of steel army ( Machine) though I wish I had time to finish the others.
at least one shockforce army ( goth rats or deadtech)
at least one B5 fleet (vree or drazi)
dwarves for chronopia.
heavy gear: Peace River.

might be able to fit that all my big army transport ( I hope)

2k points?  Hmmm...  i'll see what I can cook up with either Cartel or Cyber.  IIRC, Cyber owes you one for wrecking one of their restarants. :)

Dude...  thats alot of figs.

All I plan on bringing is:

Reinforced Battletech Lance of favs (Warhammers and Wolverines with a Tempest or two)
UWZ Armies- Cartel Interdiction Force and my Cybertronic Machine army
Chrono- My very maligned First Born.
Maybe an HG Recon Cadre (cheetah's rock!)

Leslie will have her Black Sisters done by then hopefully.

I asure you that it is there B, as I have eaten there several times.  It's not the best food but it is still pretty good.  The reason for going there is the hospitality.  They recognize us (or at least our group if you tell them that you are with "The boys from Illinois") and take good care of you.  Now that I've been living in C-bus for the past f3ew months, I know I quicker way to get there instead of the hour hour drive down Broad St!
