brotherhood troopers confusion
« on: January 25, 2007, 12:00:19 AM »
hey all. this is a dumb question, but as i posted recently, i'm pretty new to wz.  i'm having a bit of trouble telling the brotherhood normal troopers apart from the elite troopers. i use the 2nd edition forces of war army list, and the normal troopers pictured there have the flat -faced helmets (and in the pics were painted with just black armor), and their sergeant pictured is the helmetless chick. the elite troopers pictured have the helmets with snouts, and are the troop types with optional GL, RL, sniper, etc. soldiers.

however, i have found miniatures that look like elite troopers listed as normal troopers from several places i can order minis from. anyways, i guess the easiest way to settle this problem is to ask if the soldiers pictured in this link are normal troopers or elite:

its also confusing b/c the figures shown here are supposed to be the elite ones:

to further confuse me, the pics i've seen of "elite" brotherhood troopers with rockets, sniper, etc., look like the flat-faced soldiers i thought were the normal troopers....

are the inconsistencies due to changes in the different wz editions?  or are they probably listed wrong in the stores' websites?
anyways, hope i havent been too confusing. any help is appreciated.

To answer your question pic 9512 are Paladins, 9516 are Elite Troopers, and the specialist you mentioned are now Reg. Trooper Specialist.

another brotherhood troopers question:  does anyone know if the 1203 blister is regular troopers? (i.e. paladins are listed as regulars someplaces)  also, is this a 2-man or 4-man package?
thx in advance

I would assume that number would be Paladins in UWZ.

That could be the old number I know the current number for the 2 pack of BH troopers is 11209.

It is. Depending on when the blister was packaged, you'll either see 11209 or 1203.
