January 13th--Between Books
« on: January 02, 2007, 07:14:12 AM »
JoshCon has moved!!  It's going to Between Books for a couple of reasons.
1.  My place ain't gonna hold everyone.
2.  I'm back on the nicotine patch, and need to get out.
3.  Greg Schauer is our most ardent supporter, and we should go where we are welcome, and can support him.
4.  My birthday is at the end of the month, but I feel like having it early.  ("I do what I want!"  --Southpark)

I know some of you can't make the 13th--it's the second Saturday of January.  I'm hoping to get those who can, especially Bryon "PhillySniper" as I've not yet met him and would like the chance to get us all under one roof if we can.

Archer--Sorry I didn't return your call.  I'm healthy, awake and will ring you tonight.

If the Old Silverback (OSB) asks, tell him it's called "ThomCon"--he's easily duped.

J.P.--I know you said you won't be around, but let me know what you're up to any weeknight but Wed. or this weekend if you want carnage and mayhem at my spot.

DETAILS:  Bring what you want, Chronopia and Warzone.  Same people who brough terrain and mats, bring'em again, if you're coming.  If you can't make this one, let me know and someone else can step up.
Info:  Saturday, Jan. 13th  10 til 6:00, sharp.  Greg has to leave at that time, so we won't run later than that.

Now that the Old Silverback has been annointed, we all should really think of some simian codenames, for our imminent take over.  I've been branded DSM--Degenerate Spider Monkey.  Let fly fellas, and make'em stick.

The 13th it is! (my lucky day!) I'll bring both my warzone and chronopia, though i plan on playing chronopia, so if someone wants to use my warzone stuff, feel free.

Sounds good man!  I intend on being there.  If possible, Les *might* be able to play with her Army or with my Cyber.  We will see what we see...

no biggie.  I expect the call tonight then...

Well...  I know JP was called Magilla Gorilla or somesuch at one point.  But that was a while ago...

Dodger--bring your Chronopia--I've got to get a game in against those beautifully painted Blackbloods you've been working on.  I'm bringin' pansy Elves this time.  Pansy elves in full plate with big battle axes.

Magilla Gorilla for J.P.?  I think that's alright.

Ooo... I want a piece of that action, if possible.  I'm bringing the FB and my Cartel.

As usual, get the word out.  So far it looks like--
Dodger
Archer and Leslie
Bryon
Myself
Bill Meredith
Probably Dalton Pownell
Thom Talamini (schedule permitting but he says he should be there)

That's around eight.  Where's McGee in all this CHAOS.  Put scary preverb when I capitalize that, please.

Les said she might not make this one.  Depending on weather, she will be working with her horse.  however, I will relay this game date to Mark Andrews; I know he wants an opportunity to play his LI horde.

Sorry, I will not be there. Last time I brought a folding table with a folding terrain board and foam hills. If there is an event in late Feb early March I can probably go.
Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two.
What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE!
The entire Capitol Army.
Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.

No worries Tim.  ArcherCon is sometime in Feb.  It's prolly in Reading but plans are being hatched, and schemes are being, well, schemed.
