The Fishtown Chronopia Chronicles
« on: December 10, 2006, 11:57:35 AM »
Hello.

Joshua Salter and myself have been playing chronopia regularly for a few months now. I just picked up a resin caste skull tower that looks dead on as castle grey skull. So we started playing devout with "Skeletor" and sons of kronos with"Heman". I will look around to see if I can find a suitable big cat and barbarian looking rider for a Heman conversion. I will use the Aaonbar horseman stats for him. Results frombattle so far are 1win 1 loss. I hate those damn wolfclan dwarves.

You could always get Libby & Tigress from Hasslefree and then replace the rider.

I believe I have located the Grenadier models. Definite He-Man potential.

Oh man.  I knew this He-Man/Skeletor thing would resonate!!!  It's a fabulous piece of terrain, and we seem to use it every weekend.  The theme was supposed to remain constant between the Devout and the SOK, but I just had to play my Dwarves.  We'll set up some photos in the coming weeks with battle reports.  I don't know if we'll rival the Maplewood Warzone thread, but we're playing and having fun.

Cheers.

Steve it's gone from bad to worse.  I dropped some coin at PetSmart on some super aquarium terrain.  The Fallen Lands will never look so good!!  Of course that means I'll have to start painting my Swamp Goblins, but what incentive.  I usually refer to our Fishtown battles as "Kill Bill, volume whatever".  I'm sure Bill will throw some smacktalk when he sees this.   ;D

Let us know when you want to get a game in.  We primarily play Chronopia, but Bill is jumping headlong into Warzone, and I'm going to get a small Warzone force so I can join in the fun.  PM me when you're back in Philly.

Cheers.

Will do. I've been meaning to catch up with Dave and Hans; it's been to long since I gamed. I've been on a hiatus pretty much since I left Excelsior, but painting and terrain building and gaming is something I don't think I'll ever be able to get away from. It's really only a matter of time, and where better than philly. :-)
