So, my friend with the Hi Def TV finally broke down and got an Xbox 360.  (He and his girlfriend have named it Julian, and it is their child) We cranked up the resolution for the Hi Def and holy crap is it beutiful.

I like game consoles mostly for the multiplayer stuff.  Since I don't have X-box live, I tend to hook up me and 3 freinds to the Box for a game of Star Wars Battles, or Ghost Recon.

Now, if the Mechwarrior or X-com series were to continue, I'd be tempted to get a new PC for gamin' :)

Ummm...they both have continued...
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

Well, they haven't continued in a while is the problem, although X-com and X-com 2 are permanent additions to my harddrive :)

Have you not heard of UFO: AftermatH?  That is the next X-Com...and it is available, bud.  As for MechWarrior, I believe that 4 is out.

Mechwarrior 4 wasn't that good in my opinion.  I missed the control system of 2 and 3. :(

Steve,

You aren't the only one. I also have XCOM 3 as well.  They rock!!.

For PC gaming,  I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade as all PC games don't do it for me.  FPS or RTS just doesn't appeal to me.  However, Will Wright's Spore game has potential and is coming out later this year.  If all goes well and is released without bugs, dude, I'm getting a Dell!

I like RTS's a lot, therefore I do like my PC, I hooked mine up to my TV, it makes games a lot more fun to play, as well as very easy to run emulators.

Also, drop Media Portal on there and a lot of old cartoons and you have the ultimate setup, TV, Emulators, Current stuff, it's great.

I've been playing it for a while, now, Tim.  It is cool.
