Force composition
« on: September 23, 2005, 08:43:42 AM »
In UZW, you need 2 grunt for a support and each elite requires a grunt squad.

If I have 2 grunt squads,  can I field both a support and 2 elites?  or
field either a support or 2 elites?

thanks

And DL? Im playing Semai - may i take one Horde elite squad [and for example individual] for one Semai grunt squad? What about Horde [Common, Semai] support unit for two Semai grunt squads [or one semai grunt and one horde grunt squad]?

In the DL you may have appostle and either Horde or Cult forces.  However each element of your army (Apostle and Cult or Horde) must saticfy normal buying criteria.  This means that your Semai Grunts qualify you for Semai elites and Semai support, but not for Horde elites or support, and vice verca.

For example
2 squads of Initiate could not qualify you for 2 squads of Castilonian Intruder.

Ok. And last question - common support. 2 apostle grunts, 2 horde grunts or mix is allowed?

{sorry my English}

First allow me to complement you on your English, neither of your previous posts gave the impression that you were a non-native english speaker.

As to your question, Semai grunts can buy anything from the Semai Support list, and Horde anything from the Horde list.  Common Support units are on the support list for each Apostle, the Cult, and the Horde, I still think that each side of your army must follow normal buying criteria, therefore even though the Pretorian Behemoth is on the support list for both Semai and the Horde, you must buy his as a support unit for either your Horde forces, or your Semai forces, therefore 2 grunt squads from either list qualify you for a Behemoth, but one from each does not.

Gal has it spot on.  Each force must be legal in it's own right.
