Eradicator Amok Question
« on: October 31, 2006, 01:13:28 PM »
I am a little confused as to if  the eradicator deathdroid is affected by the amok table on page 34 of UWZ,
i see the eradicator has the AI in its description so does it have to use this table and if so when must it use this table?
Thank you for any answers

yes it does have to use the Amok table...

as to when, it uses the table whenever it takes and fails a morale test...since it doesn't have the word Vehicle in its description, it has to take morale checks...

at least, I think that is right...hopefully it is...

I think the faq says it is a vehicle... (very shure..)

that again proofs we need a new and well known faq!!

Thank you that has helped make things clear as i now have seen the section on vehicles that states a vehicle must make a check when its "last safe wound" has gone, and understand now more about the EDD  :)

Here: http://www.liniafrontu.ehost.pl/download/v7.zip you can find a file that contains army lists with (I believe) all the information from FAQs included - the Eradicator is a vehicle in this file ;-) . This may be helpful in the future....

it does make sense that the Death Egg is a vehicle, but I was reading my UWZ book (which I know has some errors), and made my post based on that info...

I guess that I could see it not being classified as a vehicle, because it is an AI, but it still sounds odd to me...

It has been FAQ'd, before, by Thom, himself, that the EDD is both a vehicle and A.I.  Therefore, it may go Amok, plus, it may fire and move in the same AC, and is allowed to gain the +3 to fire when standing still during the firing AC.
If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

I remember that now...I think that set a lot of questions about it being a single-crewed vehicle and the bonuses for it firing...
