Horrors of War
« on: September 29, 2005, 08:06:07 AM »
I work in a headquarters unit in a undisclosed overseas location (no room in this post of politics people).

Anyhoo a while back a "body tax" (which is when higher demands it's subordinate units hand over people to do jobs like guard duty or whatever) came down.  Among the things the Bosses wanted was a X system operator.  When we asked what an X system was we were told it was a rectal scanner.   Of course this is what we passed to all of our units.  Lo and behold it turns out it was a retinal scanner.

Embarrassed, we passed this on to our units.

One commented that they would have to reconsider the names the volunteered.

Well it is sometimes called the Dark Eye (at least in Swedish). :)

I am proud of you guys for steering clear of politics and keeping it to more appropriate topics. ;)

That would be breaking forum rules.  ;)  Besides, rectum jokes are much funnier. :)
