FIRING ARCS for VEHICLES
« on: October 22, 2006, 02:51:44 PM »
Okay, I know that this has been discussed, before, but we really neeed some diagrams.

I still have all my 2nd Ed. books, and want to know if firing arcs have changed, since then.  There are some defined in UWZ, but, not all.

Vulkans are troopers - not vehicles.  Are their firing arcs just like other troopers'?

Does an EDD have a 180° firing arc for it's arm mounted weapons?

If sing, sang, and sung, sink, sank, and sunk, and drink, drank, and drunk, how is it that it isn't bring, brang, and brung, think, thank and thunk, and ding, dang, and dung?

Don't even get me started about bad, badder and baddest.  Run, ran AND run...again?  C'mon!

well, what I found in the book

-> vulcans = troopers = 180°
-> EDD = vehicle (faq) = 90°

I am not aware of any exeptions.. it there are more "official" rulings, then they are not in the net..

So, am I safe in assuming that all vecles have 90º arcs of fire, or do some (Strike Skimmer) have 180º?

Vermin definitely has a turret mounted gun - both in the description in Imperial book for MC, MC 1st edition artwork and UWZ artwork. Also, the actual Vermin model has turret-mounted HMG.
