Hello. Played Joshua Slater today his devout vs my Obsidian elves. While drawing up lists he joked that he wished that I would twenty out the summoning roll for the adamantite golem. Which I did(@#%$#&*) followed by a second twenty(@##^) . The Golem rampaged into my black lotus eater and rolled a 1! Goodbye lotus eater. Though I can say even after killing my own mage I still gave Josh a run for his money. I hate twenty's.

Ouch.  Yep, there aren't any tactics in the world that can defeat bad dice rolling.
