Questions about mounted troops
« on: August 27, 2006, 03:21:14 PM »
Hi,

1) Sons of Kronos rules book says about mounted troops: "... The existing rule for Mounted Troops attempting to move and shoot at the same time with a -6 penalty, is also emulated, as both the rider and the mount are spending an Action in the same period of time. ...".
What it means "move and shoot at the same time" ? It's possible move and shoot with only one action ?
And what it means "-6 penalty" ? What statistic value it must be subtraced ?

2) All type of weapons of the riders attack with a -1 Dam ?

Thanks.

Gianluca.

Move and shoot at the same times means just that! The animal's action is to move while the rider's action is to shoot. The penalty of -6 is deducted from the rider's MW stat.

The rider's ST is added to the damage of his CC weapon. There is no -1 penalty to damage.
It IS as bad as you think it is and they ARE out to get you!!!
