My bad... Forlani is correct.  I was thinking of the movie Meet Joe Black and her character name stuck in my head.  Rena Sofer is definitely my first choice in the looks category.

Jovovich is too masculine looking.  Val is a hot chick with a serious attitude!  That's why a dark haired beauty should be billetted for the role--just my opinion.

Well, since Valerie Duval is a bauhaus character, why shouldnt she be played by a german actress? Like Bettina Zimmermann (gosh, this woman is hot ;D )

Devil's Advocate; one of the basic concepts of the MC world was that ethnic barriers had all been absolved and that all the corporations had been complete integreted (of course years of Asian Mishimas and Paul Bonner Aryan Bauhausers dispute this but whaterver).  Val could in theory be of any ethinic origin.

That said, Devon Aoi is still a questionable choice.  Can she act is my only quesiton.
