Pie with Cheese, anyone?

So, I recently tried some apple pie with cheddar cheese (slightly melted) and it was tasty. I know it's a somewhat popular thing to do in these parts (the NY/NJ area), especially among older folk.

Does anyone else do it, and if so, do you have any good Pie/Cheese combos?

(I find that a good apple pie, combines with good quality sharp cheddar is a yummy combination)

What he failed to mention was that the cheese was his Capitol dog force <  sliced swiss cheese to be exact.. after Dexcon and the Sunset Strikers were finished>  ;D
