Title: A lonely Viridian Lord
Post by: Alxbates on April 06, 2012, 07:16:52 PM
I painted this guy to be part of a warband for a Lead Painter's League a while back, but I never got the rest of the group finished.  I left most of his veins looking human-like as I had the idea that he was a cursed human rather than an undead reanimated plant-body thing.

I still feel like it's a bit unfinished, but I think I'm calling him done for now.

Let me know what you all think!

For Chronopia, I don't have much planned.  There's a half-done Necromancer conversion that I need to finish painting, but right now my painting table has some of my own Forge of Ice miniatures and a bunch of Wargods stuff, as well as a few D&D miniatures and some Conan The Barbarian themed figures.

I'm in the middle of a huge "sort and sell" project right now, that's how I rediscovered the Viridian Lord!

What Forge of Ice pieces are you painting?

Thinking of selling my Wargods miniatures.Having a big clearout myself.

Just sent away a Matt Gubser Conan piece this week ;).

I'm painting up my mummies and the Pterro-Man, as well as a converted Pterro-Man, and a little turtle.

A Gubser Conan?

I think I tried to buy that one, but you sniped it first!  *shakes his fist at Andy*

Yeah, Matt's a great sculptor... I'll get him to do something for me eventually.

His comedy is pretty good, too - seriously, check out his youtube videos.  That guy tells some hilarious stories!
