After months (yes, plural) of begging, pleading, crying, coercing, and a little blackmail, I finally convinced my wife to let me got to T6!
Huzzah!
To celebrate that: (NOTE: one of my goals at T5 last year was to play Thom, but I didn't get the opportunity)
Me: Master Dragon62, I've come back to complete the training.
Dragon62: No more training do you require. Already know you which you need.
Me: Then I am a Doomtrooper.
D: Not yet. One thing remains.
Me: Thom.
D: Yes, You must face Thom. Only a fully trained Doomtrooper with the Art as his ally can defeat
Thom.
Me: Master Dragon62, is Thom Talamini my father?
D: Rest. I require rest. When up til 3 am playing Red Dragon Inn you are, look as good you will not.
Me: Dragon62, I must know.
D: Well, you do have the same haircut, and he does have a lot of adopted "children" in you age group, so.....maybe.

Quark(grinning): Going to have to do some hard math for this one.You humans i swear. Still. Mature Experience vs the younger more hungry. Its a classic.
Me: Yeah but the betting odds...
Quark: (ponders) Hmmm. I could work with this. I mean WE could work with this. Get some promotions out, some cheap flyers. I wonder if Thom has a manager? I wonder if either of them has a manager? I got to get in bid for catering it now!
Me: the odds Quark?
Quark: Im telling you there's PROFIT to be made here. I know a guy who owes me a few favors.
Me: Who doesnt?
Quark: Quiet! And Timelords don't come around here anyway.
Me: Huh?
Quark: He provides employment to male and female "promotional experts".
Me: You mean booth babes and servers.
Quark:(grins wide) Sort of Nudge nudge. I get a few of those around serving drinks they get tips, minus a modest sub client fee of course. Open the bidding early. Include optional weapons insurance fee... Ii can almost feel the latnium now!
Me: You could just have discount on the food and drink for every so much bet placed.
Quark: Dis COUNT??? Bite your tongue, human! Ill get your odds...after a few calls..Thom vs Doompup? Heh!.they'll be swarming in to place bets by the shipload! (smiles gleefully rubbing hands together)
