WWW.CAULDRONBORNMINIATURES.COM (http://WWW.CAULDRONBORNMINIATURES.COM) HAS OFFICIALLY OPENED!!!
No, this isn't an April Fool's Joke, though the irony was not lost on me.
I want to thank everyone for your support and encouragement, it has been a long but rewarding road and I am glad to have traveled it with you. Frankly it is good to be back spinning metal again! I missed the fumes... ;)
Please check out the new digs. Feel free to suggest new models you'd like to see made, remade, unearthed or anything else that springs into your head. We'll post pics here are they come of course and encourage you to do the same.
I have a spiffy new logo for the company courtesy of our own JP DeMare but fatherhood has delayed its finish. Can't wait to share it with you.
As this is a new venture, bells and whistles will be reserved for the products only. No fancy packaging, no glossy cards. If we can keep the costs down, we will. As always I welcome your feedback.
Thanks it for now...

Fracking-A, man. WTFG!
P.S.: Nice signature.
-
Great news!
Good luck I look forward to seeing the line grow.
Is there going to be a rule set to go with them or are you going for a line of miniatures for generic use?
-
This is just the first step, and it took almost five years!! It's just a range of generic models right now, but we'll see what happens.
Spread the word, and thanks for looking. ;D

Thom,
Congratulations! I am selling some excess gaming stuff on E-Bay, so should have a few extra dollars to pick up some of the 19th Silent figures...I mean, Sci-Fi Cybernetically Enhanced Trooper.
Looking forward to seeing what else you all end up developing.
BTW, if you have not, already, see if you can swing an advertisement on The Miniatures Page. Lotsa mini gamers there, and it might help get the word out.
Oh, and do you have a Facebook page? I would like to Like ya!
-
I just registered at the new site!!! Can't wait to see what is to come!!
Congrats,
Scott

DWARVES!!!
EXCELLENT!
I need to get together a cauldron order and a For A Miniatures order together soon....
-
This is fantastic, Thom!
If I may offer a humble suggestion for sculpts (not that you don't have a million ideas already, I'm sure): I'd like to see more Warzone and Chronopia "knockoffs" (not to use the term disparagingly). I think the sculpts you have on there already are fantastic, and I'd like to see more that I can easily integrate into my two favorite wargames.
P.S. Please look for a US/Canadian distributor. I'd love to support both you and my FLGS.
-
Nice to see this come together Thom.
A great start to the venture.I have already started to pimp you on a few forums.Frothers Unite.Lead Adventure forum,Dakka Dakka and I was beaten to Warseer.
My miniatures are away getting painted and when they are done I will post pictures of them.
All the best for you and Joshua.
-
I see interesting miniatures there!
How much would be shipment to Italy? :)
-
AWESOME!!!
-
Really awesome news! Looking forward to all the new figures.
-
Italian players are really excited!
Praise to the initiative!
-
Excellent news indeed. :)

19th Silent figures...I mean, Sci-Fi Cybernetically Enhanced Trooper.
Not that I am saying that you are wrong, or that the model is anything but a Sci-Fi Cybernetically Enhanced Trooper, bit, IMHO, this would make an almost unarguably perfect proxy for the Surveiller. However, if you so choose, it would make no difference to me were I to see it across my table. If you say that it's a 19th Silent, and use the stats for it as such, then game on! ;D

The Science Fiction model on your site is the Surveiler from the Polish sculptor and i can se you have removed the Cybertronic mark for obvious resons. Now to my question how many of the polish sculps do you have? And how many of them can be used as no name Sci Fi figures?

Apologies, you are correct! Surveiller was the intended figure...have not played in a while, and I am getting rusty on some of the figures... :( Thanks for catching my mistake, DMcGee!

No worries; I wasn't calling you out on it (per se). I was just being humorous about it. As I stated, I am not a purist, therefore, I would play it as whichever figure you chose.

WOOT! WOOT! Awesome!

Does anybody know if Cauldron Born Miniatures is still in business? I bought some minis three weeks ago and still didn't get shipping confirmation. I mailed them but there is no response so far.
-
We are still in business. PM me with your details and I'll make sure it's gone out. Thanks for your support!!!!!
EDIT: If you bought the Dwarves, they're on backorder. We sold out and had to get more cast up.
-
ARe the dwarves back in stock? looking to place an order!
-
Daargrim pm'ed me, but I thought I'd post that our Dwarves are back in stock. Thanks all for your support, and post painted pics when you can!!
Cheers.
-
I have some of the minis and they are great, hope we`ll see some new figs soon.
Greetings,
Catinator
-
The Dwarves keep selling out, and we're waiting on another restock. We're probably going to use Kickstarter soon to get sculpts that we have in hand moulded and cast up.
-
Kickstarter seem's to be the best way to do things now.Good to know the Dwarves are selling well.
-
I bought the dwarves and the sci-fi guy (surveiller) and all I can say is the dwarves could not have been sculpted better by even someone who did the original line of miniatures or even the later sculpts
-
Glad to hear. I've bought the dwarves too, but I'm just wondering when will they be shipped... ::)
-
My order arrived in a timely manner. Due to the quality I hope Thom or whomever did these does more.
-
We're still waiting on our restock!! >:(
They had problems on their end, but any day now we should have them.
-
any new figures on the horizon?
-
Yes. Thom has to finish a sculpt that was damaged during the mastering process, and then you'll see some great stuff. I'm pretty excited about the next wave. I just sold my house and hope to have a little coin to put into the Cauldron this year. I wish we could time it for another April Fool's release, but it will be after that.
