Title: Glenn's Minis
Post by: Glenn M on March 29, 2010, 05:54:40 PM
I just whipped up a few minis recently, they can be seen on blog:

I did a sorcerer with my first attempt at lighting effects, a pumpkin golem, and a figure for Aang from the cartoon Avatar.

Nice try with lighting, but I think you should add some less strong yellow light on the lower body. Right now is highly focalised in the left shoulder.

Keep the pics coming! ;)

Yeah, I was really unsure about the lighting, but I thought the upper body would block nearly all the light from the rest of the body.

P.S.  The Blog is set up very nicely.  Cool that you've got that to show off your stuff.

My Wife's D&D character, though if you dig there should be some other cool stuff.

Glenn,

What is a Craft Robo?   Never heard of that before.  However, it looks like a neat way to make shingle, tile or similar patters for terrain on the fly.

Craft Robo and Silhouette SD are the same thing in case you are wondering.
If you wanted Madbrad, I can cut these out for you and send them your way, or anyone for that matter.  Optionally you can design your own stuff and I'll do it as well.
Just use the Craft Robo software:

Anyways, if you need anything like this just ask, I am sure we can work out a good arrangement of sorts.  I'll have to charge a little due to material, blades (which last a while, but regardless they do go bad), and backer sheets.  But I am sure I can make it quite reasonable.

Thanks for the offer!

I cannot do much gaming related stuff until the campaign is over.  After November 2nd I may lock myself in the basement for a week and catch up on all the figure painting and other gaming activities I have been missing for the past months.   Thanks for the info as well.  That looks like a neat setup, and would be useful for a lot of things.

Beginning an Easterling force (not for LoTR, I just liked the minis :) )  And began with converting a great leader, riding that damned cool Griffon from GW's new box set.
