Thats pretty cool. As someone else stated I dreamed of that as a kid. Mind you it was a day-dream so long ago I imagined them all as computer generated holograms.
Can't wait to see where they go with this, good to hear they are in talks with Wizards.

That is really cool.

Wedge's gaming group has made a setup for projecting maps that he posted some time ago.

Ok, they can't control the monsters via the PC but still quite cool.

That is very exciting.  If the board is programmable and resolves combat...amazing I say!  I do however miss the 3 dimensional elements of our traditional game (though you can't beat the set up time and storage issues).

The models would still be used, and if the table can be prgrammed to represent terrain, then you should, still, be able to use terrain by simply programming in the coordinates so that intervening cover could then be simply accounted.
