Nice set up. Great start.

I plan on ordering some heads with berets from Gripping Beast and converting regular Capitol Heavy Infantry into Airborne troopers. My paint desk is filled with SOKs
Warriors X 8
Blade Maidens x 8
I also need to order a bunch of bases for my warzone & chronopia figs cuz I'm using the 30mm lipped ones.
-
I got me some heavy inf and will be chopping theri wittle heads off. I will be replacing them with beret heads from Gripping beasts' MOFO line. Right now I have some Free Marines on the table as well as a couple of sea lions that I am testing their paint sheme on. Hopefully be done with them by the 20th.
-
Just finished 5 free marines and my two Sea Lion test paints. They came out well. I'll be taking fotos this Tuesday.

Awesome, also post in the army capital pictures please.

Here is my latest installment of Capitol goodness. I have the rest of the sea lions on painting stands and I just got a couple more characters. I like how they came out. You can really see their stands which have sand and "water" on them. I flocked local beach sand and painted part of the bases blue and green. I finished by putting a thin coat of super glue on the base which made the sand and "water" shiny.

I really like the commo effect on the troops. Great job!
-
I like how you converted the heads; added some individuality to figures that we all have sort of come to get bored with due to their commonality.
-
The Sealion squad is mostly finished just have to complete their swords but they are fine as is.

Nice painting.I like these newer sculpts better than the old ones.Roy Eastlands sculpting is amazing.
What is planned next then?

I have Major Torres, Special OPS chick and Jake Kramer's brother Snake Kramer. I have found some awesome Colonial Marines by MOFO/Gripping Beast that I will be ordering soon along with the heads for my airborn troops.
-
I need to take some fotos of snake and the spec ops chick. I'm working on some historicals now.
-
Painting's great!! I also love the clean lines of putting them on the 30mm round lipped bases.
-
I've been working on the following terrain piece and plan on finishing it when I get to texas.

Spectacular! Bet that will be fun to have on the board.

I'll post an update when I get into my house
-
I get into my house this friday don't know how long before I get teh interwebs.
-
I'm in my house and I still only have sporadic inter-net. I need to get a new camera cable which is not a normal usb cable. I have received some light Inf mortar teams and I got me some SHS heads for my airborne conversions.

What kind of camera do you have? There are USB conversion kits at walmart for $12-$15 which might be cheaper than a new cord plus you will have everything you need. They come with a variety of heads including Kodak and Sony camera hookups and I think a couple of the others.
BTW, where in Texas are you located? I grew up in Tyler and have family in Arlington, Texarkana, Tyler and Houston.

These are my WIP Capitol Airborne troopies. They are being displayed on my SOB display board that I recently finished. I am using the West Wind SHS british WWII for the head swaps.
