Where are these rules in the UWZ book - for some reason I can't find them.   ??? ???

You are correct, they are not there.

Hiding has turned into waiting (ambush), and concealment rules.

There are also stalk and stealth to go along with this. Look these up and post any questions for the friendly neighborhood FAQ or one of the numerous well versed forum members.
