Nice - backhanded compliments. ;) I really don't think that my work is anything special. I know a few techniques (using black primer, drybrushing, and a magnifying lens) that could easily be learned by anyone. I go for tabletop ready, and it works, most of the time.

Wow, Coil, I must've missed this thread a few months back - I like your miniatures, but i LOVE your terrain!
What's that terrain you're using as a photo backdrop? I'd love to know the manufacturer and product names. That looks like stuff I'd like to get my hands on.

I've been painting a lot of different units lately so everything is taking longer to finish lol... Here's a final picture of The Judge with the base completed. I've also decided to finish the gems. Quick Cell phone pic... :D

Here's one of my recent paint jobs. Stole the horse's scrollwork idea from dmcgee1. Tinkered around a lot until I found that I really liked the two-toned (red left, white right). Also stole Daargrim's idea of allowing the man-at-arms and knight to be able to be removed and put onto their bases. The way I did it wasn't perfectly accurate, so they fit snug (don't fall off when picked up). Spent waaay too many hours on this, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Probably one of my best overall pieces of work.

Latest addition to my firstborn army. I needed to finish these off to complete a full warband (8 regulars, leader, standard, 2 greatmace).
Did a bit better on the eyes than I normally do. Also churned them out pretty fast, so not a whole lot of fluff.
