Is there anything in the Sons Of Kronos book that is not covered in the 2nd edition Chronopia book?
In other words, is it worth buying if it is the only book you don't have?

Well, if you are playing 1st edition then you need it. If you are playing 2nd edition, then its just nice for the artwork, and the background story, but not necessary. The story takes up about 1/3 of the book and is just a fun little read.

I think it is well worth getting all first edition books as then you have the colour art to base your miniatures colour schemes on.

Good point Manic. I also like the maps, which are useful for campaigns, plus the niffty background stuff.

Background stories are always very good and give you some good ideas for battles.

Or for proxy minis if you're not able to get the original ones!

Anyone use Celtos figures for SOK Chronopia? I too was wondering about the SOK book, good info I may just get it.

Prince August has lots of figures in e-Bay from time to time and right now they have some SoK ones. User name is mouldsandminis.

I got one celtos mini as
Blade Maiden Champion

Minunn and Dave the book is in the Maplewood Inventory post for $1. It's worth that just to read it. ;)

I have a few options that work really well as SoC proxies.
Celtos is a good Blademaiden option.
Reaper has a lot of really good character models to get different looks to leader models.
