Fireball and LDV
« on: October 30, 2017, 12:04:20 PM »
Hi guys!
A question about fireball spell.
To cast spell I have LOS on the target?

If the ball hit a scenic element before it reaches the target it ends its race?

The spell profile does not say this information.

thank you!

I'm not sure what you mean about ldv.  Do you mean line of sight?

Anyway, I think that if it hit a solid piece of terrain like a building or hill or even a tree, then it would not hit the farther target.  If it only had to go through a few leaves, then it's probably ok to hit the actual target.

Just my perspective.   Does that help?

Yes, right! I apologize ..... (Ldv = Los .... line of sight)

the question is: if I launched a fireball I have to see the target?
(respecting the distance)

Yes, you have to see what your target is with this spell.
