Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two. What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE! The entire Capital Army. Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.

I am really loving the Tusked Raider, his face seems full of expression and so alive.
I think the Marksman proxy has alot of potential, but I see what you mean about being a bit too skinny, I really could not tell from the front though.
I have been quite slack in my painting of late, I should get a wriggle on.

Thanks Josh...its taken half a lifetime to get to this point (well, more like 20 years or so), so I've gotten better along the way I guess. You should hear my boy quickly add up what he needs to hit in CC with all modifiers included...I am so proud!

OK I wasn't going to update this soon after my last update...but if you excuse my pride...I am super-excited how the marksman came out: Had to dremel off the original hammer/axe and grind off the holy symbol in his hand. Crossbow and bolt in right hand are from some warhammer bits I bought on eBay. Had to drill through both hands, and had to pry open the xbow hand so the xbow would fit. Cut off the feet and replaced them with feet from a Vulture Legion. Quiver is from some Warlord weapons pack. And thats about it! The feet are a bit off-scale if you look closely at the original mini's legs, but it is hardly noticeable. I really like how this mini's armor is very similar to other Vulture clan sculpts. This guy is on deck to get painted after the myrmadon.

Had to add this pic... Myrmadon gobbos strapped to binder clips against their will, and disrespectfully propped up in a chunk of foam..

Great update.
Assembly line seems to work best.
Glad the washes are working for you. They seem to save a lot of time and effort with great results for me also.
