The following are the games submitted to Origins 2009. Barring some unknown problem these should run as posted. If there are any changes I will edit the list here.
Heavy Gear - Betrayal of Honor In the Badlands, 2 rival patrols meet by accident. As is the code of warriors on Terra Nova, the Champions of each force meet in ritual combat. During the duel, a shot comes from outside the duelers, a Gear is hit, and open combat breaks out. Thursday 1800 2200 (6PM 10PM) Players: 2 8 Hours: 4 Friday 1800 2200 (6PM 10PM) Players: 2 8 Hours: 4 GM: Barry Pape
Ultimate Warzone - Over the Top The life of a common grunt trooper is a daily grind of shelling, bombardment, and survival despite the best efforts of the enemy and the attempts of the high commanders to gain just a few more meters of ground in the trenches. Friday 1000 1400 (10AM 2PM) Players: 2 - 6 Hours: 4 GM: Barry Pape
Operation Boomerang After the failure of negotiations between the giant mega-corporations of Capitol and Imperial, open conflict between the two has begun. As the Cartel do their best to find a way to cease the hostilities between the two before the other major mega-corporations find a way to get involved, fighting has broken out all throughout Mars, and the city of San Dorado is no the site of some of the fiercest fighting. In the outskirts of the Capitol capital, Imperial troops have managed to overrun a Capitol position and capture Colonel Edward Frank, a member of Capitol high command that was reviewing troops at the frontline as Imperial forces launched an assault over into the Capitol side of the city. Now, as Imperial commanders are preparing to transport the colonel back to Imperial territory as a prisoner of war, Capitol agents locate the position of the colonel, and the Capitol commander draw up Operation Boomerang to retrieve the colonel before he can be taken into Imperial territory to be interrogated fully. Saturday 1000 1400 (10AM 2PM) Players: 2 - 4 Hours: 4 GM: Barry Pape
Chronopia - Return of the Weird The Tribes of the Sons of Kronos prepare to celebrate the return of their beloved Weird. They have a feast set up and waiting for him. Strange thing though, the Shadow Tribe has joined the celebration this year. The Devout are also rumored to be in the area, but why? Can the Weird make it in time to sort things out and kick some @$$ if need be? Friday 2000 2400 (8PM Midnight) Players: 2-5 Hours: 4 GM: John Mardis
Ultimate Warzone - The Hell Fire Bauhaus has established an artillery base high up in the mountains and is shelling the Capitol front lines. A Capitol incursion team has discovered the location and must take out the artillery before Bauhaus decimates the Capitol main force. Ultimate Warzone - Swamp Intrusion Researchers on Mars have discovered an unusual event. Meteors from the asteroid belt with no point of origin have been landing in the swamp thirty K (30Kliks) from the Bauhaus Central City. A team of research investigators were sent to investigate and never reported back. It could be capital trying to boot us off this world or any number of things. We need to find some answers. It is time to send in the troops. All materials will be provided and rules will be taught. New players welcome. Chronopia - Desert Demons We have an opportunity to observe 2 of the Firstborn's greatest enemies. The newly awakened Stygian that treats mankind as cattle, and the Devout wishes to control mankind. Our orders are to observe and report back strengths and weaknesses of both sides and not get caught. We followed the Devout into the desert for three days and I see signs of dust storm ahead. This may be what we are looking for, a battle between two demons. All materials will be provided and rules will be taught. New players welcome. Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two. What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching? OPEN FIRE! The entire Capital Army. Don't ever say anything but a 20 before rolling the dice.
