It looks like at least one piece will fit nicely on the 3 x 6 sections, 3 pieces on the 6 X 6. Some will have to only appear on the 18 x 18 sections.

I will also try to create my own pieces to fit on each section.

Looks very funny!
Are the pipes scaled to provide complete or partial cover?

I think I am missing something in the translation of "It looks very funny" Could you please clarify for me? Thanks

The pipes are either 3/8" or 5/8". Normal communication with your fellow player will clear up any issues with cover etc. The basic rule of thumb we use is more than half the model is behind something - it provides cover. (either hard or soft depending upon what you are behind).

The way I intended the board (in reference to cover) would be hard cover if at least half the model is behind one of the pipes etc. Very good question about cover with the pipes. Thanks for bringing it up.

Are these crank wheels designed for some special wheel grasp helicopers?

No, but thanks for noticing them.

They are shut off valves for the industrial terrain I am making. I tried to have them stand out by painting them. I may tone it down some with another wash on them. I will do this when I finish the pieces - I would like to add laminated control panels where appropriate and chemical warnings/markings on all storage tanks.

Skullz.  Everyone knows that the future is covered in skullz!

OK.

I didn't plan on any but OK.

If in the future I make an ruined Industrial terrain board - yes I would need skulls. Lot of them.

I am continuing to cast with all 5 molds now. I am waiting on 2 more molds (to be purchased this week). I will need these to finish this project.

In the mean time I am working on a storage/transportation solution for the 18" x 18" terrain pieces. It looks like I will have to fabricate my own for them.

I also will most likely use the textured wallpaper for flooring on the 18" x 18" pieces. The ceiling tile is very difficult to cut to a correct size.

I used painter's tape and a fine tooth blade and I was able to cut them without issues (no cracking). Getting them trimmed to fit the wood pieces I want to mount them on is difficult.

2 new molds to be purchased after vacation. I had to wait on payment from a friend in Dover first.

In the mean time I am working on a storage/transportation solution for the 18" x 18" terrain pieces. It looks like I will have to fabricate my own for them.

I will most likely use a box or boxes for this now.

I also will most likely use the textured wallpaper for flooring on the 18" x 18" pieces. The ceiling tile is very difficult to cut to a correct size.

I tried this and it works well

I used painter's tape and a fine tooth blade and I was able to cut them without issues (no cracking). Getting them trimmed to fit the wood pieces I want to mount them on is difficult.

I cut it with the blade without chips/shattering. The issue I ran into was trimming to fit the wood piece.

I received the lat two molds needed for the modular terrain table yesterday from Hirst Arts.

I did a test cast on each last night. Came out very nicely when I finished the project this morning.

I have made another cast of the two new molds. Still looking good. I will need another 2 test casts to begin to assemble pieces for the 18x18 inch modular pieces.
